Hótel Laugarhóll reserves the right to update all policies without notice.

Cancellation policy

Laugarholl is a small destination and is therefore sensitive to cancellations. We always encourage our guests to communicate sooner than later if they are making some changes to their travel plans.

Cancellation Policy – Individual Bookings
Cancellations must be made in writing to laugarholl@laugarholl.is.
  • 7 days or more before arrival: No cancellation fee
  • 3–6 days before arrival: 50% of the total reservation will be charged
  • Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the first night will be charged
  • No-show or cancellation without written notice: 100% of the total reservation will be charged

Cancellation Policy for Groups 
Please note that hotel reservations for groups of 10+ guests require credit card details to be provided at the time of booking. In addition, 10-30% Confirmation Fee may also be requested 8-12 weeks before arrival. 

Group Cancellations (5-10 rooms) 
Hotel Laugarholl must be notified of group cancellations in writing no later than 8 weeks before arrival date. 

Cancellations made less than 8 weeks before arrival date will be charged 50% of their reservation. 

Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before arrival date will be charged 100% of their reservation. 

Group Cancellations (10-17 rooms) 
Hotel Laugarholl must be notified of group cancellations in writing no later than 12 weeks before arrival date. 

Cancellations made less than 12 weeks before arrival date will be charged 50% of their reservation. 

Cancellations made less than 8 weeks before arrival date will be charged 100% of their reservation.

Code of Business Conduct
